[IFC] for Circular Economy > add new IFC parameters

   HI all,

   it is my first question in this community. Hopefully, it is not a silly one... (I google it but have not found a proper answer. Probably the question is not very structured and full of bias )I am recently exploring IFC and have also read some papers related to the CE( Circular economy ). So the question is the following:

   is it possible to add a parameter to an IfcElement?

   accordingly some papers it is possible but need to follow specific ISO, which means it will need to be agreed upon and checked etc.

   But

   Is this possible if I would like to add parameters that allow my IFC to store information (like disassembly Phase, degradation level etc.)? Or there are already parameters that can do this?

   Welcome.

   is it possible to add a parameter to an IfcElement?

   Yes you can.

   The following video's specific to BlenderBIM, but it applies to IFC as well, since a BlenderBIM file is essentially an IFC file.
