    This is awesome news and worth writing an OSArch.org news article about! Anybody can help write ~300 words about:

    • What is Krita and what features you'd expect

    • Who its fund sponsors are, and what's the connection between Intel and Krita (basically paraphrasing's Krita's announcement)

    • What the fund is used for

    That would help spread the word!

    Krita has replicated the successful funding model from Blender. And it is showing now very good results.

    Being a Gimp user.. searched for a comparison Gimp vs Krita ..
