Allan Brito has offered to give away a free spot in his course described here: https://osarch.org/2022/09/15/technical-drawing-creation-with-blender-and-inkscape-workshop/
So how should we give it away? Come with some suggestions and the steering committee can make a plan.

... me personally I suggest any current financial supporter can put their name in the pool and we pull one randomly.
... so if you're not currently a financial supporter run over to https://opencollective.com/osarch and give us a few dollars.

just curios, does Allan Brito use Blender in this course without BlenderBIM?

@Martin156131 Yes it seems like it, it shows you how to use blender from scratch, how to incorporate dxf and dwg, and how to output and clean up drawings in inkscape, so it is completely comprehensive outside of Blenderbim, but most of what is taught can be brought across I think

I also think this is a great idea! How about "the first new recurring donor" gets a free ticket?

Would suggest giving it to someone that wants it, and is going to use it. The first new recurring donor might not be interested.

Yes sorry "First new or existing donor who wants and is going to use it" :)
