I'm not certain if this is the right place for it, but a company called FUTO is providing open source funding for projects

The one caveat is the weirdness of having to fly to their office and work there, it seems like a big publicity stunt.
But for BlenderBim and any other Open source project makers here seems like a good chance for funding

@Andrej730 I'm so sorry, but perhaps do keep in touch with them, and perhaps in 6 months in the new year it'll work out!
