Blender Snapping is evolving!

   at 24mins the new base snapping feature, which is essentially cad like snapping, moving and scaling

   It does what the cad transform addon does!

   No 'Custom Snaps' mentioned. It would be essential for snapping pipe fittings together. I know you can use vertex points but that is gawky.
