STEP file import

   Hello, I need to import a metal structure from FreeCAD into my IFC file, is there any available workflow that can keep the BREP data? I mean without exporting to a mesh format like .obj or .dae, but importing for example the STEP file.

   Sverchok has a "read FreeCAD" node. I've managed to get that working, but didn't test it much

   https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues/2984 is probably what you're after. If you have some time, it would be great to take the script mentioned in that issue and update it to use the API and also convert it into an IfcPatch recipe so everybody has access to it.

   Would the FreeCAD Blender add-on or Native-IFC support helps ?
