I want to create an opening in a wall! Should be an interaction of Void and ifcOpeningElement, but I do not know where to start and what are the steps?

One approach:
Great - thanks a lot :-)
I want to put an opening through two objects.
Merge both objects in IFC Aggregates, to an IfcElementAssembly (Hope it is correct).
Select the cube
Select IFCElementsAssembly/Assembly and choose Select Parts
and now - where is the Add Void command for die Assembly?
After selecting the opening, select the assembly empty and then try to apply the void.
yap, that's it! stupid little thinks :-)
And wow when I tie in the next wall, the opening is included.

Hello!!
Is there anything wrong with my BBIM version? When I click out of the cube should appear APPLY VOID, right???
bbim v0.0.240308
Perhaps you first have to select the opening and then the covering, so the covering Is the Active object.
Exactly. The workflow is to first select the opening (blue object) then SHIFT + left Click the wall object to add it to the selection set and make it active. The wall outline must be yellow, not the other way around. Then you will be able to apply the void.
