Startup time comparison between blender 4.1 and rhino 7 on wine (on Linux)

It may be obvious, but here is a comparison of startup times for vanilla versions of (no plugins) Blender 4.1 (source built) and Rhino 7 (on wine).

Blender ~2 s. Rhino ~15 s.


OS: EndeavourOS Linux x86_64

Host: 81YT Lenovo Legion 7 15IMH05

Kernel: 6.5.9-arch2-1

DE: KDE

CPU: Intel i7-10750H (12) @ 5.000GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Mobile / Max-Q

Memory: 31803MiB

How is rhino working under wine? Stable?

Latest Rhino 7 works fine for smaller tasks, maybe you could run a project with it as well, but unfortunately I couldn't get Rhino 8 to work, so there won't be an opportunity to try (using a Windows virtual machine instead). There are quite a few visual glitches with Nvidia card, but with a bit of patience you can get around them.
