Hi guys,
apparently my BlenderBIM has updated itself. Now I have version 0.0.231104 installed . Before I could select file>import>IFC after the addon was activated. However, I no longer have this option. I have the problem that I urgently need this function.
Before the update, I had version 0.0.230506 installed and it worked perfectly! In addition, the addon was previously shown in the preferences as: Import-Export:BlenderBIM, now as: System:BlenderBIM.
I would be very happy about a quick help, gladly also simply a ZIP-file of the old version.
Best regards
Henri

@REHUB, this is due to the major BBIM interface overhaul. Please refer to September 2023 release notes for more info: https://community.osarch.org/discussion/comment/17181/#Comment_17181

@REHUB , use the tab: EDIT/ OPEN IFC. .. It doesn't say IMPORT.

BlenderBIM, unlike proprietary CAD/BIM apps edits IFC natively so no Import/Export just Open IFC, the joy of FOSS is that you don't have to waste time and resources 'hiding your toys' (that is your .rvt or .dwg or .pln etc)

@Omeyotzin127, @Nigel, BlenderBIM used to have an "Import IFC" functionality instead of "Open IFC", before the major UI overhaul in September (I mean before v0.0.230902 update). This is what caused the confusion initially.
