How to create a new .ifc file with just a few select objects from another .ifc file.

    As far as I understand the advanced mode, you're loading the one element from zhe file, but the file is the same, you didn't create a new empty file with just one element! If you save the file you should still have the original.

    Whoops, yes, i think you're correct.
