Aligning 2 IFC projects

   Hello All!

   I've been working on modeling this house to analyze the MEP designs. I began modeling based on the 2D PDF architectural projects. However, when I received the sanitary design, it didn't match. I've searched extensively but haven't found a solution.

   Question 1: How can I align these two IFC files?

   Question 2: How can I work with one project IFC 4.0 and other IFC 2.3 files?

   Upgrade them to IFC4?

   If you know how much you have to move them....I would suggest to use the IFCPatch Recipe:

   I've seen a new one I never tested before but may help:

   

   My first shot would be to upgrade the IFC 2x3 to 4, and use the first recipe.
