There seam to be a problem in latest BBIM ... I can add topics, but not view points, buttons are grey and with mouse over there is a error ... see screen. Can some other confirm ?
I have been playing with bcf gui in BBIM and encountered some problems. Best to make a new topic jsut for bcf gui IMHO. Might a admin split these topic in this regard (probably the last two posts in a new topic) or should I start totally new an just make a link here ?!

I have been playing a bit more ... Furthermore I have reactivated my python bcf BBIM ... I will post in the regard of BBIM bcf gui here and in the regard of bcf python BBIM in this topic ... https://community.osarch.org/discussion/634/ifcos-bcf-parser-get-a-list-of-viewpoints-objects-guids-by-python#latest since there is lot of code already
After playing some time one problem still exists. It seams only possible to create a viewpoint if threre is one allready. If a project is loaded new viewpoints can be created, but not on a new project in BBIM ... I need to play some more with the BBIM bcf gui

found it ... bcf can have the 8 diggit hex color with alpha channel as well ... added the fix to the PR ...
