Trying to create L shaped roof flash.

   Hi, I tried to create a L shaped object type. But ran into an error as per the attached screen shot. I have also attached my IFC file information.

   Sorry, can you provide a little more info? Perhaps a videocast of your steps?

   Hi Theo, thanks for the interest.

   I managed to get it right, the mistake I made was to have a "90" in "Leg Slop " thinking that it is an angel value, it worked once I removed that value, I could not see what a "LegSlop" is for.

   Note if you right click on the attribute in the interface and look at the bottom of the context menu you can see the Ifc documentation. Click on it, then click on the link to get to the docs page https://standards.buildingsmart.org/IFC/RELEASE/IFC4/ADD2_TC1/HTML/schema/ifcprofileresource/lexical/ifclshapeprofiledef.htm

   

   

   There you can see the field expects a IfcPlaneAngleMeasure which is in radians. So 90° = pi /2 radians. You can type that in the field. You can also type radians(90) if you don't want to deal with pi and radians :p
