Assigning textures to the IFC materials.

Hello. I made the project in IFC format and then saved it in blender format. In it, I can't assign the IFC texture to the objects, it doesn't display correctly (just a solid color). Everything is fine with the new objects. Blender 4.3.2 Bonsai v0.8.0

I used this video as an instruction, in it the author succeeds (from 52 minutes)

I would not recommend saving both the .ifc and .blend file--as there always seems to be syncing problems. And if there is, you have to reopen your .ifc file anew, and then you loose your materials assignments.

When working with materials in Bonsai, i recommend using 'external styles'.

The author in this case broke the link with the IFC file and just used the model purely as a blender file from then on for demonstration purposes.

Generally, If you are going to save an Ifc file and a Blend file, keep them separate completely.

Or as Theoryshaw says, if you want to use the IFC for everything, use external styles and don't save the blend files

The problem was solved by manually adjusting the UV.

I am keenly interested in this so could you kindly share how it was done? Thank you.
