Job: Looking for a Bonsai Mentor

    Hello,

    I would like to use Bonsai for an upcoming project and I'm looking for someone to guide me during the process. I know the basics of Bonsai but don't feel confident managing a whole project alone with it yet.

    The project involves 3D modeling, rendering and the creation of technical drawings.

    My idea is to set regular meetings (1 to 3 hours) with a Bonsai expert where we discuss best practices on a real project.

    Work can be done in English, French or Spanish.

    I have also used Bonsai for my academic work and used blender extensively for the rendering of projects.

    @theodorefaure hello, i wanted to know how is it going... Have you managed to do something?

    Because this post reminded me an idea that i had in mind some time ago and it is to create a mentorship program.

    I'm a active member of osarch community from 2021, i follow every day the new posts, commits and chat, i know pretty well Bonsai and i contributed also to it with some code a couple of years ago.

    I could share what i have learned in these years and continuing learning day by day.

    If somebody is interested, we could schedule a meeting and see if it works. If so, we can concordate an fair offer and half of it could go to ifcopenshell donations.

    Hi! Thank you all for your messages. I contacted Ryan and I'm now guided by his knowledge of BIM, Bonsai and architecture for my project.

    I'll mark the subject as resolved.

    @Massimo I think this is a great! There could be a place on the forum or the Bonsai website to highlight such offer, like a "find an expert" page.

    @theodorefaure yeah, this is actually a great idea! A group of people (Mentors) that can be available to guide new users into the world of Bonsai and osarch!
