For those who don't like GUI in CAD programs
For those who don't like GUI in CAD programs
It'd be awesome to add this to the Wiki directory, but I'm not quite sure which category they'd be under.
Looks like a frontend for many cad backends, so somewhere into 3d modelling applications ?
Do they belong to software development? https://wiki.osarch.org/index.php?title=Free_software_libraries_for_AEC_software_development
Thanks for sharing @bitacovir.
I don't think I can be of much help in deciding where the information should go ?. but let me know if I can help in any way.
All of them are 3D modelers. Only they don't use traditional UI. We have two groups:
Scripting language input (like OpenSCAD)
Node input (like Sverchok)
But maybe not all of them have direct application on AEC like Sverchok and Dynamo. Maybe a new category for mechanical Apps?
Are they geometry kernels? Or am I mixing terms.
OpenSCAD
OpenScad (solid) and OpenCascade (brep) are gemetry kernels.
Both provide "easy" programmatic way to build geometry.
