I am trying to create a workflow from Blender and FreeCAD to IDA ICE by using IFC-files to perform energy- and daylight simulations. I have no previous experiance of Blender or FreeCAD so I wonder if sombody could help me to create extremply simple examples (single room with a single window) for Blender and/orFreeCAD-files and exported IFC-files that can be used for testing the IFC import capabilities in IDA ICE?
Sincerely
Max

There are a lot of sample files in the wiki, most of them is available in ifc:

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately all these models are quite complex. I would just need something extremy simple (a box) that can be translated and simulated, prererable in IFC 2x3.

@Cyril can you help @Max in the right direction here? Maybe move the discussion to an existing thread?

@Max You can get samples files from BIMxBEM project repo : IfcTestFiles
You can also get Aalseth Residence energy model in Revit / ArchiCAD / ifc formats from there
