Looks like grease pencil get some pretty interresting feature : scene / collection "line art", basically drawing edges of relevant objects as gp lines.
At this time it is still not possible to convert to curves, but at least the feature is here, providing (a bit slow) perspective / orthographic edge removal able line tracing right on screen.
