   Hmmm... just wondering, is this particular annoucement 'neccessary' or for convenience ? Would an absence in one's native language a genuine reason for non-compliance ? :)

   @paullee no idea, I just think it's polite. Actually is an interesting question. I'll add it to my very long list of interesting questions to which I can't be bothered finding the answer.
