I know it's a lot of work to rebrand, but you are doing a great job. It's a minor detail, but BonsaiBIM is better than Bonsai, because Bonsai is a plant thing. The community is fine with Bonsai, but I think GitHub and X should be BonsaiBIM.
Should the workspace be called BIM or Bonsai?
May be too late but i like IfcLab, IfcStudio or IfcOpenStudio, IfcDesign or IfcOpenDesign

Old logo does fit in nicely. But since you guys are all for the subliminal meaning her goes nothing: you could try the bonsai tree like this
But rotate the original BlenderBim B logo

making it the house behind the bonsai. And while we are at it, we might wanna make the branchs like a bunny or a computer mouse while keeping this cloud(ish) style.

Maybe late to the table, why not simply BBIM , has links to previous abbreviation of blenderbim, could also be short for BunnyBim or BuildingBim

Haven`t dealt with the colors yet. Just applied some pastel to it cause the bonsai thing brought me the origame paper feeling. Lol. IT is terrible on those colors, but maybe someone could pickup from here.

None of these websites still use the name with Bonzai. I don't understand what MoI has to do with any of this. And Bonzai3D seems to have become form·Z Pro.
Edit: Let's not even mention the fact that this post is from 2009.
The name similarity may not be a problem, its a hope for the best prepare for the worst situation, I came to the conversation late or I would have mentioned it sooner.

BBIM can represent BonzaBIM or BreakerBIM
If needed lets go back to IFCStudio or IFCOpenStudio (IFC-OS). I hadn't had the chance to vote. Nevertheless, I'll keep using the add-on. It's awsome.

Bonsai brings back memories of using Bonzai3d from Autodessys and then later upgrading to a FormZ license and that was my default 3d modelling suite till I settled in properly with Blender, great product.
BeMyBim if bonsai fails because of "Bonzai3d"?
